²² So they pitched a tent for Absalom on the roof, ^(A)and Absalom went in to his father’s concubines ^(B)in the sight of all Israel. ^23 (C)Now the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counseled in those days, was as if one asked of the word of God; ^(D)so was all the counsel of Ahithophel regarded by both David and Absalom.
